The 66th CWAJ Print Show closed on October 29. The Donors Special Preview Sale was held this year before the in-person show at Daikanyama. The Online Gallery was held until the end of the Print Show. The Print Show Director and Co-Chairs would like to express sincere gratitude to the Print Show Committee members, the Board officers, customers and every volunteer including Overseas members who came all the way to help at the Print Show for their hard work and generous support.
The Special Exhibit featuring AY-O, IKEDA Masuo, YAYANAGI Go and TANAKA Hiroshi was fabulous. The gallery talk by Dr. Kit Brooks and the presentation by baren master GOTOU Hidehiko were well received. The HOA presentation about a new way of creating raised images was innovative. The Guided Tours attracted many people every day.
People gathered to buy our lovely products. If you would like to purchase some more products, we will be selling the products at the December General Meeting. Hope to see you there.

The Young Printmaker Award exhibition highlighted the works of two recipients. The individuality and skill of each of the young artists was inspiring.
The YPA award established in 2005, has encouraged the development of young artists. Eligible applicants are the creators of the winning prints selected at the Annual Exhibition of the Association of Japan Art Colleges (DHG) held every year in December. The 30 winners will be announced at a special event on late December this year at the Ueda City Museum in Nagano. After the 2024 YPA applications are submitted at the end of January, the YPA Selection Committee begins to select the prints. Applicants are evaluated on the criteria of their project proposal, artistic potential, and creativity. The Selection Committee meet only twice, between mid-February to early March (dates to be decided).
