Join us for an intensive visit to Kyoto
The CWAJ Kogei Arts tour to Kyoto from November 27 to 28.
Make our own travel arrangements to meet at our hotel by 11:30 on November 27.
We will be at Kyoto Station at roughly 17:30 for our return journey.
November 27
We meet up in the lobby of the Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kyoto Terrace Hachijo PREMIER.
We will be driven to visit Mr Nagakusa who will give us a talk and demonstration of traditional Kyoto embroidery.
Dinner will be Kyoto kaiseki.
November 28
After breakfast we leave for Uji to visit the Asahi Aki pottery, a style favored by the Imperial family.
This is followed by a tour of Byodoin Temple garden and a museum tour.
After the tour we will enjoy a traditional kaiseki Kyoto style lunch at a famous restaurant.
After lunch we will leave for Kyoto State Guest house for our private guided tour.
We will be dropped off at Kyoto station by 17:30 for our return trip home to the end our amazing trip.
The trip fee covers:
Hotel accommodation, and kaiseki cuisine lunch and dinner
Admission fees for the State Guest House, MK taxi company, and honorarium for the artists.
The fee for this trip a result of much research and ensuring group discounts and based on 15 sign ups. The fees do not include your transportation to and fro Kyoto.
(a) 59.700 yen for those opting to share a twin room
(b) 67,200 yen for those opting for the single room option.
Deadline for signing up is October 24 Payment details will be emailed once we have sign ups confirmed.
Deadline for paying in full is October 30. Payment details will be shared with members who sign up.
Members who have paid the fee but cancels after October 30, must find a substitute to take their place as the fees will not be refundable after October 30.
