Across the globe, educated women are powerful agents of social change, transforming families and societies. CWAJ’s mission is to support higher education, nurturing future leaders who will contribute to a better world.
Donations to CWAJ fund scholarships for Japanese women studying abroad in post-graduate programs, non-Japanese women pursuing PhDs in Japan, and visually impaired scholars attending university in Japan and overseas.
Experienced CWAJ volunteers screen and select top scholars so that our donors’ funds go directly to education, not overhead or organizational costs.
CWAJ also accepts sponsorships of art awards. Our print show team has decades of experience identifying emerging Japanese printmakers and print award donations go directly to artists.
