Scholarship selection has begun!
The CWAJ scholarship applications have been received, and committees formed. We will be reviewing applications through March of next year and presenting the Scholars at the 2026 May General Meeting.
Thank you to everyone who has volunteered to join the selection committees. If you still would like to join the team, there are still ways to help us for a short time or a large commitment. Please contact Suz, Yuka, and Catherine directly at scholarshipcommittee@cwaj.org. Scholarship has several opportunities to join as a one-time volunteer including Hostess or Tech support on interview days in February and March, and as an assistant for small jobs. We are always looking for someone to help with translation for social media posts.

Scholarship at the Print Show
**202512_Scholarship PS ONR Sophia and Wilter**
We were proud to present two of our 2025 NJG Scholars at the Print Show Opening Reception on October 14: Wiliter Chemutai MOMANYI and Sofia NUNES HUERTA. After the reception, Lingna YU joined us for a lively dinner with the Scholarship Director and NJ Co-Chair as well as Sibyl Kane and Nathan Schmidt who helped Scholarship with pro bono legal advice this year.

On Saturday, October 18, four past scholars joined Scholarship members at the Print for a reunion. After some coffee and a chat, they participated in a tour of the Print Show, and an explanation of Hands-on Art.

2024 NJG Scholar Areum Ryu is completing a fellowship at Yale. She recently made a connection with International School of the Sacred Heart (ISSH) alumna Sofia Sato, thanks to Mrs. Charmaine Young, ISSH HS Principal. Mrs. Young attended the VVI event, Life is Climbing movie with a group of students who participate in Action for the Blind Club.
