I am pleased to announce that the two proposed Constitutional amendments were approved by everyone present at the October 8 General Meeting. This was the final step of the amendment process. The changes will:
- officially change the name of the Education Committee to Community Service Committee, and
- remove some details of membership payments from the Constitution, and move them to the appropriate Membership section of the SP&P.
The Constitution and 2026 SP&P will be revised accordingly. Details about the amendments can still be found on the website here.
I had planned to vote by Zoom Poll, but there were insurmountable technical difficulties. The vote was held instead by show of hands at the end of the meeting, with 54 members present and voting. I am grateful to everyone for their understanding and cooperation.
