In Memorium: Kay Hamada

Kay Hamada passed away peacefully with her family by her side on September 14, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was 59. Kay loved the arts throughout her life, creating many of her own works while also giving generously of her time and talents to the community through the College Women’s Association of Japan (CWAJ). Her warmth, creativity, and dedication touched everyone who knew her, and she will be deeply missed by all whose lives she enriched.
Kay is survived by her devoted husband, beloved daughter, and many friends, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts.
The members of CWAJ extend their deepest condolences to her family and loved ones.
*A past member of CWAJ, Kay was one of the main people involved in creating CWAJ’s website, having dedicated countless volunteering hours on it.
