In March, we hosted our third Information Meeting of the year with nine women in attendance. Of the nine in attendance, eight were eligible for membership, but one was ineligible for membership as she is a foreign student studying in Japan this semester.
We are thrilled to welcome five new members and one rejoining member to CWAJ this past month: Kaori Goto, Takako Hikotani (1991 Study Abroad Scholar), Chieko Mochizuki (rejoining member), Monami Mogi and Teruyo Yamaguchi from Japan, and Margaret Maeda (UK).
We have received five inquiries for membership since our last report. Three women are eligible for membership since two were inquiries from abroad.
Our next New Member Welcome Coffee is scheduled for April 24. Invitations to 2024 new members who haven’t yet attended a Welcome Coffee, and 2025 new members have been released with event details.
As we have reached the half-way point of the membership year, Regular Members can join for a 50% discount off of the Regular Membership fee. (The fee will return to the regular renewal rate in September.) If you know a woman who would make a great CWAJ member, please let membership@cwaj.org know so that we can send them the invitation link to our Information Meeting.
