1. Scholarship Stuffing Day on Thursday, May 22
We are looking for a few more members to help us prepare envelopes with Scholarship information to mail to universities and other interested institutions. It will be held at the CWAJ Center from 10 am. If you want to help us, sign up HERE.
2. May General Meeting on Wednesday, May 28 – Volunteers Needed!
Please join us on May 28, in person or online, at the May General Meeting to meet CWAJ’s new scholars – see the General Meeting flyer for full details.
Volunteer and guarantee yourself a seat at the Scholars Presentation, as well as being able to meet the Scholars. We need help with:
- Tech supporter
- Simple tasks like reception for guests, put out table numbers and name tags
- Photographer for the formal photos of scholars (arrive early)
- Photographer(s) for casual photos during the event

3. Learn About Scholarship Day
On Wednesday, June 4, we will host a “Learn about Scholarship Day” at the CWAJ Center. We will talk about the history of Scholarship, how Scholarship is organized, and what volunteer opportunities are available. There will be members with officer experience who can talk about what’s involved in the positions and answer questions.
All CWAJ members are welcome to join. If you want to know more about what the Scholarship Committee does and how it runs, or if you’re already participating in Scholarship and are wanting to take on a higher position, please come along. There is no obligation to be involved in future Scholarship activities.
