On May 12 from 14:00 to 16:00, CWAJ will host an intimate concert and tea at the Akasaka Prince Hotel Classic House. Tickets are ¥15,000, paid in cash at the door. Guests are welcome.
PERFORMERS: HONO QUARTET
Brilliant, talented, prize-winning young musicians who NEVER disappoint with their amazing musical performance.
In 2006, the HONO quartet was formed while all of the members were students at Tokyo University of the Arts. In the first six months of its existence, the quartet won third prize and the Haydn Prize at the 4th Munetsugu Hall String Quartet Competition. In 2007, they won first prize in the String Quartet Section of the 8th Akiyoshidai Music Competition. Most recently, in May 2023, the quartet won second prize and the Ambassador Prize in the String Quartet Section of the Osaka International Chamber Music Competition 2023.
