Scholarship is looking for Volunteers in a few differents areas:

Simple tasks like check-in guests and organize tables numbers and nametags
Scholarship recently added four new positions and we are looking to fill them (more than one person per position is desirable)
This is a great opportunity to help in Scholarship with specialised skills – maybe you like to organise events! Maybe you enjoy dabbling in Graphic Design! Maybe you are good with Tech! Maybe you are good at PR!
Scholarship Publicity Coordinator – coordinate Scholarship Publicity
- Create Social Media posts, in cooperation with CWAJ Publicity
- Assist CWAJ Publicity with promotion in print media (e.g., writing press releases about new Scholars; work with Information Coordinator and Historian to check accuracy of past scholar information)
- Help maintain the Scholarship website pages, in collaboration with Director/Co-Chairs
Data Manager – oversee the Scholarship online application process
- Manage online application process
- Reconcile application fee payments, in collaboration with Scholarship Treasurer
Designer-Copywriter – help with graphic design of Scholarship-related items
- Compile “CWAJ Scholars” flyer about new scholars
- Create Scholar Board for use at May Scholar presentation and Print Show
- Update Scholarship brochure
- Update Application poster
Scholarship Administrative Assistant – help with administrative tasks
- Assist with Scholar Presentation; e.g. name tags for guests, corsages for scholars
- Help with other administrative tasks as requested by Director/Co-chairs, such as mailing of announcements to schools/universities, and helping to find translators for SNS
