Join us to hear Tomomi Ishiura talk about her journey to becoming a Paralympic swimmer! All CWAJ members are welcome to attend this event.
Tomomi Ishiura is a CWAJ scholar (SVI-SJ 2008), and had training at JVDCB to enhance her skills prior to job hunting. She has been a frequent participant at CWAJ English Conversation Gatherings. In her 2008 Scholarship write up she said “I am good at swimming and strive to join the Paralympics. So, I am training mind and body every day.”
Presentation will be in Japanese, with interpretation in English.
Presentation and Q&A are open to all.
Registration is required; registration closes on December 10.
The presentation will be followed by breakout room conversation in English for Visually Impaired guests.
