The Sugekari Park is located about 10 minute-walk from Naka-Meguro station. We will have the kimono program at Wakan in the park. Last year we had an online kimono program “all about kimono”. Ms. Koizumi taught us about many kinds of kimono. Ms. Koizumi has been studying about kimono as an instructor for many years. To be a professional kimono instructor, it requires a lot of time and patience. She is a certificated a senior kimono instructor of Hakubi Kimono Institute. This time, she will show us how to wear a kimono in front of us. She will explain what is the most important point when you wear your kimono. This is a good chance to learn wearing a kimono appropriately. You can enjoy wearing a kimono and get some tips of wearing kimono through her lecture. She will bring several kinds of kimono to show you. You can touch those kimonos to find out which is for winter, which is for summer. She will bring narrow Obi belts. That type of Obi belt is easier to wear. Ms. Koizumi will demonstrate how to wear kimono with a narrow Obi belt. Don’t miss the chance to feel the world of kimono. Several foreign students will be able to wear a kimono on their clothes. A map will be provided later after making your reservation. If you have any question about the program, please feel free to contact us.
